Following on years of requests and discussion, this year’s Council and presbyteries have voted to change “Confederation” in our name to “Communion.” Thus, the CREC acronym remains, but it now stands for the “Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches.”

The CREC Council will meet concurrently with the Stated Presbytery meetings this year in Minneapolis, Minnesota, October 3-7, 2011.
The meetings will be hosted by Christ Church – Twin Cities.
More details will be forthcoming. The agenda will be posted no later than Friday, September 2, 2011.
The Council is the broadest assembly of the CREC, and meets once every third year.
